Nicholson Ryan Lawyers advises Geoffrey Thompson Holdings Limited on the sale of its fruit growing, processing, packing and distribution business

Nicholson Ryan Lawyers (NRL) is pleased to have advised Geoffrey Thompson Holdings Limited (GTH) on the successful sale of its fruit growing, processing, packing and distribution business to Redland Premium Fruit Pty Ltd and its related entities (Redland).

GTH has a deep and longstanding connection with the Goulburn Valley region, being the fourth largest employer in the area. The company has provided supermarkets and fruiterer’s with fresh fruit for 75 years and currently supplies approximately 10% of Australia’s apples and pears.

Redland manages orchards located in Australia’s Riverina, Sunraysia, and Central Queensland growing districts, covering a total of 1,600 hectares, cultivating premium citrus varieties using the latest technology and innovation in modern agriculture.

The Nicholson Ryan team was led by director Leath Nicholson and supported by senior associate Veroshan Sripragasan and lawyer Alannah Beath.
